Leah is a Brooklyn-based playwright and performer originally from Montreal. Her website’s not really up to date, but her bio is, and that’s worth something.
Recent works: MOBILE WASH FEMALE LOCKER ROOM (box machine), REPLICATION BABY (CATCH Takes the Hudson at PS 21), Cankersore Paradise (Columbia University), Gutbelly (Columbia, Vino Theatre) the electrologist (CATCH 76 at the Chocolate Factory, The Tank), watching you watching me watching you (The Tank), Warm Science (The Brick), and an adaptation of The Threepenny Opera (Columbia).
Her plays have been selected for the Road Theatre’s Summer Playwrights Festival (CA), the Samuel French Off-Off Broadway Short Play Festival, and the American Theatre Fresh Ink reading series (FL). She has participated in the Sewanee Writers’ Conference, the La MaMa Umbria Playwrights’ Retreat, and the CATCH Performance Series PS 21 Retreat.
